FURTHER proof that those who hate LGBT the most are the ones who are deepest in the closet.
Dr Melvyn Iscove, 72, was registered as a psychiatrist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and claimed to be able to ‘cure’ patients of ‘same-sex attraction’.
However, Dr Iscove – who was described as having a “special interest in the treatment of patients with problems related to homosexuality” – was handed a suspension this week for having sex with patients.
The committee alleged that Iscove, who believes homosexuality is a “sexual disorder”, engaged in “mutual masturbation and oral sex” with two male patients during sessions, and had anal sex with one male patient.
My how the tables do turn. I’m sure gay Republicans aren’t the only ones who will be stuck in this position. When any young adult suddenly needs insurance for something he desperately needs because a wreck happened or because she’s found out that she’s got a debilitating disease that she would’ve known about if only she’d sought out doctor’s care before now. Either case, this ass deserves to be called out.
There’s a lot of debate going on about healthcare right now. The question that skeptics always ask is, “Why should I pay for someone else’s healthcare?” The answer is because that’s how insurance works.
Still, many people ask that question, including one twitter user who goes by Sassy Gay Republican. However another twitter user, Billy Armagh, noticed the Sassy Gay Republican singing a different tune when he was the one in need of healthcare.
Any followers from California? How do you feel about this? Or even if you’re not from California, please tell me your thoughts. I’m not sure how to feel.
California updated its HIV laws on Friday, as Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill that downgrades the crime of intentionally infecting a sexual partner with the virus from a felony to a misdemeanor.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the bill was authored by Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) and Assemblyman Todd Gloria (D-San Diego), as today’s advances in the field of medicine now allow people with HIV to live longer, with a greatly reduced risk of transmitting the virus to someone else. Furthermore, the lawmakers emphasized that the change in California’s HIV laws would allow for the state to treat the virus like other serious infectious diseases.
“Today California took a major step toward treating HIV as a public health issue, instead of treating people living with HIV as criminals,” read a statement from Wiener.
This is absolutely sick and I will not be travelling to Texas ever again for the foreseeable future. IF I move West again, I will naturally have to drive through Texas, but I will not spend a penny more than I absolutely have to in order to get through it. The government HAS NO RIGHT TO CONTROL A WOMAN’S BODY!!!!!!!
Texas legislators have introduced a bill colloquially known as the “fetal funerals” law, and as if that name isn’t disturbing enough, what the new decree stipulates is even more horrifying.
Senate Bill 8, as it’s officially titled, mandates a few things: first, that all fetal remains must be buried or cremated—this means that whether you have an abortion or miscarry, you’ll have to have a funeral of sorts for your lost fetus. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: The Handmaid’s Tale is real life.
This is vile and sickening that this group is allowed to exist. I have admitted here before that I do not understand all the intricacies of what a transgender man or woman has felt or even a fraction of what they go through during their lives, but no one has the right to be abusive and attack transgender youth OR adults.
For example, the statement not-so-subtly concludes that all transgender people must be mentally ill. “A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking,” the statement reads. “When an otherwise healthy biological boy believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the mind not the body, and it should be treated as such.”
This is something I think a lot of us really need to consider. None of us are getting younger (even though I’m sure we wish that weren’t true) and it’s better if we can put things into action while we’re young rather than waiting til the last minute.
