TX GOP Rep. Bill Flores Links Baltimore Protests To Gay Marriage

TexASS politicians are so bloody brilliant!!! It’s OUR fault that men and women can jump in the sack together and produce a child, but can’t stand each other enough to marry and create a family. I think there should be a call for hard core abstinence. Heteros are their own worst enemy – NOT homosexuals.

Texas Rep. Bill Flores made a bizarre link between same-sex marriage rights and the current turmoil in Baltimore, Maryland, arguing that “breakdown of the family” has contributed to income disparity across the country.

The Republican congressman made the controversial claim in an April 28 “Washington Watch” interview with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, noting, “The single best indicator of whether or not a child is going to be in poverty or not is whether or not they were raised by a two-parent household or a single parent household,” Politico first reported.

Protests in reaction to the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who died in Baltimore police custody, have highlighted the systemic racial inequality in the city contributes to income equality, disproportionate arrests of African-Americans and distrust between residents and the police.
